2024-09-04

At the RIS we are committed to publishing the most relevant and high quality research in the social sciences. We are grateful for the invaluable support of the Editorial Board, reviewers, and loyal readers. Although our aim is to present relevant topics and contents for the social scientists, we are all very proud of these recognitions as they acknowledge the collective efforts of the RIS community.

The good editorial practices in equality is recognized when the journal meets the following conditions: both the editorial teams and the reviewers should comprise a balanced number of men and women; the names of the authors should be visible in the reference lists; the content should be expressed in inclusive language; and it is recommended that the sex variable be included to report results and conclusions between men and women, whether to verify differences or that there are none.

Furthermore, it is noteworthy that the journal has achieved 6 of the 9 reference values in the h-index at the WoS platform and 22 of the 23 reference values at the SJR h-index.
